Nilesh Rajadhyaksha is an architect and a planner based in New Delhi. He has a Bachelors of Architecture from the Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture (KRVIA), University of Mumbai and Masters of Planning (Urban) from School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi. He has taught at the KRVIA and also been a research fellow at the KRVIA and the Urban Design Research Institute. He presently works with the Infrastructure Development and Finance Company and is involved with capacity building at the local government level.
He has earlier worked with the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, Delhi on the projects regarding Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission. He has also been a Consultant to the Town Administration of Mendefera, Eritrea for the preparation of the Comprehensive Plan.
Some of his involvements in urban development projects include the Redevelopment of Eastern Water Fronts, Mumbai; Preparation of Comprehensive Plan for Greater Mendefera Region, Eritrea; Solid Waste Management Plan for Kamatipura-Kumbharwada-Khetwadi Precincts, Preparation of Management Plan for Public Open Space in Bandra, and Appraisal of Comprehensive Development Plan for cities around India.
