Yogita Lokhande

Yogita Lokhande is an architect and a planner based in New Delhi. She has a Bachelors of Architecture from the Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture (KRVIA), University of Mumbai and Masters of Planning (Regional) from School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi. He has taught at the KRVIA, been a research fellow at the KRVIA and the Urban Design Research Institute and has also taught at the School of Architecture and Planning, New Delhi. She has worked as a researcher with the National Core Group for poverty Alleviation, Delhi.

Some of her important involvements in urban development projects include the Study and Preparation of the Vision Plan for the Eastern Water Fronts, Mumbai; Solid Waste Management Plan for Kamatipura-Kumbharwada-Khetwadi Precincts, Preparation of Management Plan for Public Open Space in Bandra, Tourism Development of Akloli, Ganeshpuri and Vajreshwari, Assessment of Dilapidated Building Redevelopments and Evaluation of Slum Sanitation Programme.
